How the check works
- At checkout. By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18 and that you are buying for yourself.
- At your door. The courier checks a valid Emirates ID or passport before handing over the parcel. The person who signs must be the adult named on the order or an adult at the address who can show ID.
- If the check fails. The parcel goes back to us and the order is cancelled. The delivery fee is not refunded in this case.
Why we ask for ID in person
A tick box online proves nothing. Checking ID at the door is the step that keeps these products away from teenagers. We do not ask you to upload ID through the website.
What we will not do
- Sell to anyone under 18, even with a parent's permission
- Leave a parcel with a neighbour, a security desk or outside a door
- Accept an order placed on behalf of someone younger
If we find an order was placed for a minor, we cancel it. We may also refuse future orders from that account.
For parents
If a young person has ordered from this store, email smartvapesdubai@gmail.com with the order details and we will cancel it. If you are worried about nicotine use in your family, the UAE Ministry of Health and your local clinic can point you to support.
Who should not use our products
These products are not for people who have never smoked or vaped, and not for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. Talk to a doctor if you have a heart condition or other health concerns before using nicotine.
